This Policy explains how Contester Technologies O\u00dc (the data controller) collects, stores, uses and discloses information from you when you use Contester products, services, mobile applications and websites. This Policy applies to users of the Contester Services, defined as the services, APIs, and functionality we make available either through our website at Contester.net and related site pages (the \u201cWebsite\u201d), via separate sites, repositories or servers under our control, or through third party sites that utilize our services and functionality, as well as through our device software (\u201cSoftware\u201d). This Policy does not apply to websites, applications, or services that have their own privacy policy; nor does this Policy apply to practices of companies that we do not control or to people we do not employ or manage.<\/span><\/p>

Information requested during the account registration is necessary for you to provide in order to enter into a contract with us and get access to the services. Information collected on our webpage<\/span><\/h2>

When you visit our webpage, we automatically collect some Personal Data sent to us by your computer, mobile device or other access devices, such as a device ID or unique identifier, geo-location information, internet protocol (IP) address, device identifiers. We also collect information about you use the webpage to make it better. We also share information regarding our visitors to LinkedIn by an information-gathering pixel, to be able to measure advertising campaign effectiveness and to be able to target messages to our visitors on LinkedIns platform. Our website uses a tool called the Facebook pixel. This tool is only used if you have provided your consent. When using this tool we share certain data with Facebook in order to be able to market our services and products on Facebook\u2019s platform.<\/span><\/p>

The Facebook pixel makes it possible for us to display better ads for you on Facebook based on your behavior on our website. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on the cogwheel in the right corner on all pages on the website. You can also adjust your settings on your personal Facebook account. The Facebook pixel shares data regarding your behaviour on our website (which URL that you visit), IP-adress and certain technical information. We as advertisers on Facebook, and other advertisers on Facebook, may build customer target groups for our respective ads which is partly based on pixel data. One of our products also includes a location feature, which may use geo-location technology to approximate your real-time location.
